Congratulations to an Athlete!
Congratulations to Gracie, a K-9 Kraving fed chocolate Labrador Retriever who finished in 4th place in the Novice division at the DockDogs Worldwide Finals competition in Iowa in November.
Gracie (Gatsby's Saving Grace) is a three year old rescue dog owned by Fay Fowler Gross. She currently holds a DockDogs Worldwide Novice Big Air title and two DockDogs club titles - Express Speed Retrieve and Junior Big Air. She has also earned canine freestyle titles -Novice, Novice with Props and Brace with her house mate, Chime.
She is currently competing in all three classes in dock diving-- Big Air, Speed Retrieve and Extreme Vertical. Next year she will compete in the Iron Dog division as well.
We wish her luck this weekend in a competition called the Dog Days of Summer hosted by Chesapeake DockDogs. This event is being held at the Detour Winery in Detour, MD.
Gracie is a great example of a raw fed rescue dog that found her niche.
